BPS Litigation & Insolvency is experienced in all aspects of commercial and insolvency law and regularly advises clients in disputes involving sums in excess of £3million.
Harry Lipson has developed a niche Claimant commercial insurance practice, and was involved in the reported case of Hussain v Brown (CA) which developed the law relating to continuing warranties.
Should you choose BPS to advise you or your company, on first contact, we will try and assess the merits of the dispute with a view to understanding your own aims and expectations - whether this involves litigation or not.
Thereafter, adopting a no nonsense commercial approach, we will advise upon what action should be taken, including an appraisal of whether dispute resolution would be appropriate. We will also advise you about any exposure to costs and the most appropriate method of funding.
BPS are one of the few firms who will consider a “no win / no fee” or “no win / low fee” funding arrangement for commercial cases.
BPS have obtained successful outcomes for a number of high value claims; clients view this as backing our judgment by being paid our fees / full fees only if a successful outcome is achieved.
